, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. You will help monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor check‑in activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted and controlled areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts regarding security‑related concerns and/or unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and assigned access points, with working environments and conditions that may vary throughout the location.
- Document access activity, maintain accurate logs and reports, and support vehicle inspections and delivery screening in accordance with site‑specific security‑related procedures.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of supervisor/manager experience in a security‑related role or 3+ years of security‑related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
