Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as a driving access control professional. In this role, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour
Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual)- 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)
- Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)

- Wednesdays 06:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, log visitor activity, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document observations, and communicate with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
- Support vehicle and pedestrian screening processes, follow key control and access authorization protocols, and report security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
- Access control or badge experience (preferred).
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
