Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access procedures, badge and credential verification steps, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for people and vehicles, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas at the location;
Document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity, maintain accurate access records, and communicate security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual activity to site leadership;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying posted procedures and escalating security-related matters when needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter suspicious activity and report hazards, equipment issues, and/or other site concerns
