** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage visitor processing, and document security-related access activity in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas and critical access points, to help identify and report security-related concerns.

+ Support screening and vehicle access procedures for deliveries, contractors, and personnel, helping to uphold controlled entry standards and orderly site operations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have customer service experience preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
