Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with access control protocols.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and report conditions that require attention.

+ Support location operations by maintaining accurate logs, controlling access to restricted areas, and following chemical and petrochemical location procedures for personnel and vehicle movement.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor and/or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
