• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by following access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter points to help identify security‑related concerns and report conditions that require attention.
• Support location operations by maintaining accurate logs, controlling access to restricted areas, and following chemical and petrochemical location procedures for personnel and vehicle movement.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of security supervisor and/or manager experience, or at least 3 years of security‑related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
