, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage visitor and employee entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible, professional presence. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation before permitting entry.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and records for visitors, deliveries, vehicles, contractors, and personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, gate areas, and the surrounding business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
