** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site contacts.

+ Operate access-control systems, cameras, communication equipment, and visitor-management tools in accordance with established procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
