Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Petro Service Limited invites applications for the Service Technician position in Prince Edward Island. Join our dynamic team to travel to customer sites across PEI maintaining and repairing petroleum dispensing equipment, including traditional fueling and emerging technologies.
Job DescriptionPetro Service Limited is an industry leading solutions provider to the fueling landscape with operations throughout Canada. Established in 1985, Petro Service evolved from rebuilding gas pumps to becoming one of the fastest growing petroleum service providers servicing clients from Alberta to Newfoundland. Our customers include owners and operators in retail fueling, including car washes, and commercial/industrial markets. Whether petroleum, or alternative fueling (EV, Hydrogen, etc.),
our service model ensures customers’ needs and expectations are met.
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
- High school graduate (post‑secondary in electronics or trades is a plus)
- Experience in mechanical or electrical work (certified tradespeople welcome!)
- Energetic, self‑motivated, and positive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Skilled in customer service and multitasking
- Clear communicator with strong organizational skills
- Licensed to drive with a clean abstract
- Willing to travel, work on‑call (rotation), and take on overtime
- TSSA or CPCA certified (an asset, but not required)
- Training provided
