Childcare Floaters/Teacher Aides

Springview Academy of Summerville is a licensed childcare center seeking qualified Childcare Floaters/Teacher Aides.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass all background checks
• Minimum of 30 days of experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation: $15 - $16 per hour, based on education and experience

• Willingness to effectively substitute for any position as needed, covering staff breaks, absences, and taking on classroom duties before or after scheduled shifts.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
