Overview
Performs inspection duties and ensures contractors follow contract requirements and standard specifications. Assists project managers in making routine daily decisions concerning construction practices on assigned construction projects. Coordinates work between contractors and the Department to ensure progress of work. Ensures all data has been collected and compiled accurately on daily dairies and construction reports according to Department policy. Responsible for final construction plans on assigned projects.
Ensures that proper sampling and testing of materials are performed according to the Department specifications. Coordinates with the utility companies for the relocation of utilities.
