Position Purpose
The Learning Facilitator is responsible for the design, coordination, facilitation, and measurement of learning initiatives that enhance employee performance and advance REV’s strategic objectives. This role delivers structured curriculum, supports onboarding and retail learning pathways, administers the Learning Management System (LMS), collaborates with internal stakeholders on departmental and strategic project learning needs, and ensures regulatory compliance training requirements are in place.
The Learning Facilitator plays a vital role in strengthening REV’s employee experience pillar by cultivating a performance-driven learning culture aligned with the credit union’s long-term vision.
Assumes responsibility for facilitation of core curriculum and the support of the onboarding process:
- Delivers the Retail Experience Phased Learning Plan as directed.
- Facilitates Contact Center and other role‑specific foundational curriculum.
- Conducts job simulations, product knowledge sessions, soft skills training, and entry‑level leadership development courses.
- Ensures learning delivery methods are engaging, measurable, and aligned to business objectives.
- Measures outcomes of facilitated programs and recommends necessary improvements.
- Partners with People Dynamics on REV Employee Orientation (REO) and structured onboarding learning experiences.
Assumes Responsibility For Curriculum And Learning Gap Identification
- Collaborates with leadership to assess departmental learning needs and performance gaps.
- Assists in the development and revision of curriculum to support strategic initiatives and departmental objectives.
- Supports ad‑hoc learning requests tied to strategic projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Researches and recommends new learning solutions, platforms, and physical resources to enhance delivery effectiveness.
Assumes responsibility for administration of the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Serves as an LMS Administrator.
- Assigns and monitors quarterly compliance courses in collaboration with Compliance.
- Ensures completion thresholds are met and proactively addresses past‑due assignments.
- Compiles and distributes monthly and quarterly LMS reporting to Human Resources and leadership.
- Provides documentation for internal and external auditors and regulatory examiners.
Assumes Responsibility For REV Learns Operational Coordination
- Maintains REV Learns calendar of offerings and materials.
- Coordinates course registration, tracking, and reporting processes.
- Partners with the REV Learns manager in overseeing Learning Labs scheduling and learning space prioritization.
- Maintains REV Learns intranet pages and collaborates on digital learning collateral with Marketing.
Assumes Responsibility For Strategic Project Learning Support
- Participates in cross‑functional project meetings to identify learning implications.
- Develops and deploys learning solutions aligned to project outcomes.
- Ensures learning components are embedded into implementation timelines and success measures.
Assumes responsibility for the shared initiative of REV on Campus
- Partners with the REV Learns and Marketing team to coordinate learning and onboarding for student interns.
- Collaborates with regional leadership to support in‑branch operational learning.
- Assists with the development of leadership and financial literacy curriculum for student interns as directed.
- Supports faculty advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure operational excellence and compliance in student branches.
Assumes Responsibility For Regulatory And Policy Alignment
- Ensures all facilitated and assigned learning complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains working knowledge of credit union policies, regulatory expectations, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in financial services or learning and development.
- Experience facilitating adult learning in professional environments preferred.
- Proven ability to facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences.
