Position: GE Vernova Wind Edison Engineering Development Program - US 2027

Job Description Summary

As a member of the Wind Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP), you will be an active contributor to our commitment to safety, high‑quality scalable workhorse products, and decarbonizing the globe.

Job Responsibilities
  • Contribute to impactful and technically challenging projects in the wind power generation industry during four 6‑month rotations in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
  • Enhance core engineering skills through advanced courses in engineering and business training with other GE Vernova Development Program members.
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world‑class technologists and experienced technical managers.
  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas.
  • Have the opportunity to earn credit toward an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS).
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following engineering majors from an ABET‑accredited university:
    Mechanical, Electrical, Aero, Controls, Civil Engineering.
  • Ability to work in the United States for an unlimited amount of time without sponsorship.
Desired Qualifications
  • Overall GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 without rounding.
  • Passion for the wind energy industry, engineering, and dedication to a career in technology.
  • Proven scholastic achievements, proactive leadership skills, and prior internship, co‑op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
  • Highly motivated, self‑starter, energetic, positive individual who is flexible in changing environments.
  • Structured approach to problem‑solving and learning agility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in project teams in an international environment.
