Job Summary
GE Vernova’s Edison Engineering Development Program nurtures entry‑level engineering talent through rotational assignments, intensive technical training, and professional development in the power generation industry. Participants rotate through four 6‑month assignments in disciplines such as Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test, while receiving mentorship and the opportunity to earn credit toward an MS degree.
Essential Responsibilities- Work on technically challenging projects in the power generation industry.
- Participate in four 6‑month rotations across diverse engineering disciplines.
- Attend advanced courses in engineering and business leadership.
- Receive mentorship and coaching from world‑class technologists.
- Engage in cross‑functional training and earn credit toward an MS degree (if entering with a BS).
- Expand expertise in chosen field and develop new skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering major from an ABET‑accredited university.
- Graduation by December 2026 or May/June 2027.
- Overall GPA≥3.0/4.0.
- Passion for the energy sector and the climate mission.
- Prior internship, co‑op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
- High motivation, self‑starter, energetic, confident, and flexible in changing environments.
- Strong analytical problem‑solving and learning agility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team‑building experience.
- Interpersonal skills for working in international project teams.
First‑year locations include Greenville, SC and Schenectady, NY; other U.S. locations such as Atlanta, GA become available in the second year. Relocation package is included.
Compensation and BenefitsPay range: $75,000–$95,000 with geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130% in certain areas. Discretionary annual bonus eligibility of 5%.
