We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Engineer / Team Lead to provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary engineering projects, and support the growth of a high-performing process engineering team. The successful candidate will lead projects from conceptual design through detailed engineering while ensuring quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities- Lead process engineering design and execution for industrial and infrastructure projects.
- Develop and review process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
- Perform process simulations, hydraulic studies, and equipment sizing.
- Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and project management teams.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and engineering resources.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
- Support recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, proposals, and business development efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- Master's degree in chemical, Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of process engineering and design experience.
- 2+ years of engineering leadership, project management, or team leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in process design, equipment evaluation, process calculations, and project execution.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead projects from concept through detailed design and construction support.
- 15+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience with process simulation and hydraulic modeling software.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Background in water, wastewater, industrial, utility, environmental, energy, or process facilities.
- Experience with cost estimating, project planning, and proposal development.
- Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
