Position Summary

Responsible for performing both teller and platform transactions as needed while providing prompt, efficient and accurate client service, representing the Bank in a courteous, professional manner, able to uncover client needs beyond the immediate transaction and successfully transition the client to the appropriate team member to address that need.

Client Experience Banker

Summary:

Responsible for being the primary support for the Client Experience Officer by assisting with servicing, maintenance and all other retail deposit needs. Represents the Bank in a courteous, professional manner including assisting clients in a timely manner and/or successfully transition the client to the appropriate team member. Provides prompt, efficient and accurate service via telephone, email, and in person.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Accept deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, and issue receipts.
  • Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
  • Issue and sign cashier's checks and loan proceeds checks.
  • Accept loan payments and safe deposit box rental payments.
  • Answer client inquiries and give balances.
  • Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash totals.
  • Assure full compliance with BSA and Reg CC.
  • May include answering and directing incoming client phone calls by discerning priority and what can be handled.
  • Assist in the support of Client Experience Officers by maintaining existing relationships and supporting Electronic Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Horizon

    XE, Remote Deposit Capture, Electronic Funds Transfers, etc.
  • Work with the Client Experience Officer/Client Experience Relationship Team to handle client retail deposit needs in the absence of the Officer.
  • Research and answer client inquiries; discuss products and rates.
  • Cross-sell bank services and products by maintaining knowledge of all relevant Bank offerings.
  • Research and verify account information, and resolve client problems as necessary.
  • Process credit card advances.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all policies/procedures/regulations/applicable laws.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities or Details
  • May assist with training, vault maintenance, scheduling, opening and closing.
  • Perform backup functions such as account and debit card file maintenance, process check orders, etc.
Essential Skills,

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Banking experience preferable, ideally in teller and platform roles.
  • Interpersonal skills to represent the Bank positively with the public, clients and team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to adapt to change and be a team player.
  • Outgoing personality and genuine desire to meet the public.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, professional attendance, punctuality and appearance.
