Director of Hospital wide Education needed for SC Healthcare Organization. Must be an RN, BSN and have a Masters degree in Nursing, Education or related.

Under the direction of the Chief Human Resource Officer, organizes, plans,
develops, implements and maintains the educational programs, clinical
projects, and staff development activities for the hospital, as well as
educational oversight for all standards/regulations in regards to TJC,
CMS and DHEC. The Director of Education has fiscal responsibility for
the Education Department and HR functions such as hiring, counseling,
evaluations and scheduling. Serves as a resource person and liaison for
hospital associates and the community.

Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
• Bachelor’s Degree with five years related experience required. MSN or related.
• Knowledge of general nursing theories and practice
• Must have current BLS/AACLS certification. Current BLS Instructor training preferred; ACLS/PALS training preferred
• Nursing education and/or staff development experience required. Five years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty field and/or participation in professional organization(s) encouraged.
• Must have management and teaching ability, and to effectively motivate and supervise others.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance standards related to CMS, TJC, DHEC and other accrediting bodies.
