Position OverviewWe are seeking a Support Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team. This role is dedicated to patient aftercare and clinical support rather than hearing aid sales. You will play a critical role in ensuring an excellent patient experience by providing follow-up care, device maintenance, troubleshooting, and walk-in support for our patients.
This position is ideal for a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist who enjoys hands‑on clinical work, patient education, and building long‑term patient relationships—without the pressure of sales goals or commissions.

- Provide high-quality follow-up and aftercare services to existing patients
- Support walk-in patients with hearing aid checks, cleanings, adjustments, and troubleshooting
- Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and minor repairs
, including earmolds and accessories - Assist patients with proper hearing aid use, care, and best practices
- Conduct device checks and basic technical evaluations to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate closely with Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists to support patient care plans
- Support Telehealth and Remote Care initiatives
, including patient coaching and device education - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
- Ensure compliance with all professional licensing and continuing education requirements
- Contribute to a welcoming, patient-centered clinic environment
- All other duties as assigned
- Active Hearing Instrument Specialist license (or eligibility per state requirements)
- Strong technical skills with hearing aids and amplification devices
- Patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear, compassionate, and easy-to-understand manner
- Team-oriented with a positive, supportive approach to patient care
