Project Manager (Construction)

Location: Summerville, SC 29483
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $50/hour

  • Position Overview

    The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing construction-related projects in the Summerville, SC area. This role manages projects of varying complexity from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful delivery.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
    • Lead multiple projects from inception to completion
    • Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders
    • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and timelines
    • Establish and track project performance goals
    • Design and manage comprehensive project plans
    Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
    • Lead and coordinate meetings
    • Communicate project status updates to teams and sponsors
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and individuals from diverse backgrounds
    Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify, track, and resolve project issues
    • Manage and mitigate project risks using quality tools
    • Develop alternative solutions when challenges arise
    Financial & Administrative Oversight
    • Track invoices and monitor project budgets
    • Conduct research and analysis to support planning
    • Maintain project notes, databases, and documentation
    • Monitor project performance metrics and report to stakeholders
    Team Leadership
    • Identify and assign appropriate resources for project tasks
    • Guide and coach team members throughout project phases
    • Provide developmental feedback to support team growth
    • Share project learnings and best practices across teams
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Smartsheets
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience mitigating risk and tracking project financials
