Sportsman Boats – Powder coat Technician

Sportsman Boats is looking for a Powder coat Technician that have experience in powder coating, chemical treatment, and an eye for detail. WE HAVE BRAND NEW EQUIPMENT and an AIR CONDITIONED facility.

• Mid level knowledge of the powder coat process
• Be able to follow paint flow
• Ability to powder coat aluminum small parts, t-tops, rod holders, leaning posts, and frames
• Determine viscosity
• Clean and maintain powder coat equipment
• Identify quality defects and participate in the continuous improvement process
• Ability to set and follow production schedule
• A positive attitude!

• 1-5 years powder coating experience
• Experience with color changes between white to black and black to white
• Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, climb ladder, stretch, and lift for 8-10 hours a day.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills
• Sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure to meet production rate
