Flex Operator Day Shift

ORBIS is hiring a Flex Operator to join our team. In this role, you will receive comprehensive cross‑functional training to support key technical operations and will assist Process Technicians to ensure optimal production performance.

• Prepare nozzles, perform mold changeovers, and assist Process Technicians to ensure optimal production performance.
• Cover Relief Operators and Production Operators as needed.
• Assist with material changes, option changes, and mold and version changes.
• Perform nozzle preparation, including cleaning, testing, and assembling of nozzles and nozzle blocks.
• Clean presses and press areas as required.
• Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled.
• Provide production support, vacation coverage, and overtime changeover support.
• Carry out daily checks and audits of process systems, including mold pre‑stage checks, water line checks, 5S audits, and Daily Equipment Checks (DEC).
• Assist other technical team members with preventive maintenance on injection molding tools and equipment.

• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work shift hours (7p–7a) on a 2/2/3 schedule.
