As a  
** Security Officer - Facility Patrol

** Summerville, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet associates and drivers, support access control, and document observations using site systems while communicating clearly with operations.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a logistics and distribution location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as directed.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues.

+ Control access at entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments, directing visitors and drivers, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries per site policy.

+ Complete detailed reports of observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be 21+ Years of Age.

+ Customer Service Experience is preferred.

+ Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
