As a Corrections Security Officer
- Entry Screening in Greenville, SC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and other individuals at a government correctional location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and parking locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
