Charleston Electric and Air is a locally operated electrical contracting company known for high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service. As we continue to grow, we are expanding into generator installation services and are looking for a skilled Gas Piping & Generator Technician to join our team.

• Install residential gas lines for standby generator systems.
• Perform pipe fitting work in compliance with local codes and safety standards.
• Fabricate and assemble generator stands prior to installation.
• Assist with generator placement and preparation for electrical installation.
• Work collaboratively with electricians and team members to ensure high-quality installations.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners.

• Experience in gas piping, pipe fitting, plumbing, or similar trades.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with fabrication or mechanical assembly.
• Ability to learn and adapt — we’re open to training strong candidates.
• Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor environments.
