Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inventory/Receiving with Forklift Exp in Summerville. Our client is a Warehouse. The Inventory/Receiving with Forklift is responsible for safely operating a forklift to unload, move, and store materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. Key responsibilities include checking incoming shipments, verifying counts and contents, and using warehouse management systems to track inventory. This role also includes physical tasks like hand-stacking products, performing cycle counts, and general warehouse maintenance and cleaning.

• Forklift operation: Safely operate a forklift and other equipment like pallet jacks or cherry pickers to load, unload, and move materials and finished goods.
• Receiving and inspection: Unload incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify the contents against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Inventory management: Accurately record all material movements (receipts, shipments, transfers) using computer systems or manual logs.
• Stocking and put-away: Store received goods in their correct locations, ensuring proper stacking and stock rotation to maintain inventory integrity.
• Shipping support: Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and loading products onto trailers.
• Physical inventory: Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.

• Warehouse/Receiving experience: Experience in a warehouse setting, especially with inbound receiving, is often required or preferred.
• Physical ability: The ability to lift heavy objects (often up to 50-100 lbs) and stand for extended periods is crucial.
• Forklift operation: Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and other warehouse equipment is necessary.
• Organizational and time management: Strong skills are needed for managing time effectively, organizing materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Attention to detail: The ability to be accurate in counting, inspecting, and recording inventory is vital.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills are needed for coordinating with team members and management.
• Math skills: Basic math skills are necessary for accurate counting and record-keeping.
• Valid Driver's License and own transportation
