Local CDL A Truck Driver - $25/HR + OT

Location: Summerville, South Carolina

Our client is seeking a Local CDL A Truck Driver for a full-time, on-site opportunity in Summerville, South Carolina. The driver will deliver packaging materials on local routes and long-haul shuttles while ensuring the safe and timely transportation of freight.

• Pay Rate: $25 per hour
• Overtime: Available after 40 hours
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Start Times: Between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
• Employment Type: Temp to perm

• Route Type: Local delivery and long-haul shuttle routes
• Service Areas: Day trips to locations such as Athens, Georgia;
  Charlotte, North Carolina; and Savannah, Georgia
• Freight: Packaging materials
• Equipment: Manual 10-speed Freightliner truck equipped with ELDs
• Handling: Light touch

• Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle on local and shuttle routes.
• Deliver packaging materials accurately and on schedule.
• Complete required vehicle and delivery documentation.
• Operate manual transmission equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow all applicable DOT, FMCSA, and workplace safety standards.

• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL A driving experience
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Experience operating Class A dry van or reefer equipment
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
