Arlington Heights Ford‑Tasca Auto is seeking a Part‑time Automotive Warranty Claims Assistant for its rapidly expanding Service Department and Ford Pro Truck Center in Tasca Ford Cranston.

Job OverviewYou will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and management of warranty claims, assisting the Warranty Administrator in reviewing, completing, and submitting accurate warranty claims.
Responsibilities- Prepare, submit, and follow up on warranty claims.
- Process warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and following required factory criteria.
- Be knowledgeable on manufacturer warranty policies and procedures manual.
- Review warranty paperwork for completion and accuracy.
- Stay aware of and up‑to‑date on factory recalls and announcements.
- Review returned and rejected warranty claims and prepare the repair orders for immediate appeal.
- Maintain records of claims submitted, returned, rejected, and/or paid.
- Keep track of warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement, and the date on which the part may be disposed.
- Follow up on outstanding claims.
- Reconcile warranty receivables.
- Provide weekly reports to the Service Director regarding claim status.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Warranty Administrator.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive warranty administration.
- Excellent accounting skills.
- Strong knowledge of automotive manufacturer warranty policies.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must pass pre‑employment background check and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Ford dealership experience preferred.
- CDK experience preferred.
