Job Title: Assistant Boys Track & Field Coach

Location: Argo Community High School – Summit, IL

Start Date: January 19, 2026

Position Overview: Argo Community High School is seeking an Assistant Boys Track & Field Coach to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in developing student‑athletes through skill instruction, conditioning, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

Support the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and meets
Help develop athletes across multiple track and field events
Promote a positive team culture and academic achievement
Ensure adherence to school, conference, and IHSA policies

Qualifications:

Prior coaching or competitive track & field experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and mentor student‑athletes
Must meet IHSA and district coaching requirements
