• Provide instructional and paraprofessional support under the direction of a licensed teacher.
• Assist with specialized or vocational education programs as assigned.
• Interact with staff, students and parents/guardians; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate initiative, crisis response abilities, and collaborative teamwork to support district goals.

• Must have or obtain State and NCLB Approved Paraprofessional designation in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education requirements.
• Must have physical ability to lift/move supplies, materials and equipment up to 50 lbs, as well as assist students needing help.
• Must sit at a workstation for extended periods and/or move frequently to various areas of the building.
