Staff Accountant - Retail

Job Function

• Process and code invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Own and manage the accounts payable aging process.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Create and maintain accounts payable trackers to ensure payments are made on time and properly accounted for.
• Assist the Controller with the preparation of monthly balance sheet review packages.
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
• Support the team with various ad-hoc analytical and reporting requests.

• Bachelor's in accounting/finance.
• Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, h lookups, sorting data).
• 2+ yrs of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Prior general ledger experience a plus/.
