P/T STAFF ASSISTANT II – DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES - CITY OF SUMMIT, UNION COUNTY
Summit, NJ—a progressive city of around 22,000 residents, just 20 miles west of Manhattan—is seeking a dedicated part‑time Staff Assistant II to join our dynamic team in the Department of Community Services. We’re looking for someone who is skilled and organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills who can effectively engage with both internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities- Managing administrative tasks
- Scheduling meetings
- Preparing correspondence
- Maintaining records
- Ensuring smooth office operations
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, proficiency in MS Office software, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred.
PayCompensation is DoQ.
