Admission And Financial Aid Operations Manager / Assistant To Chief External Affairs Officer
Kent Place School seeks a warm, highly organized, and proactive Admission and Financial Aid Operations Manager / Assistant to the Chief External Affairs and Strategic Partnership Officer to join a collaborative five-person enrollment team.
This full-time, 12-month, in-person position serves as the primary point of contact for prospective families, manages department databases and daily operations, coordinates admission events, and provides high-level administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Operations:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families; manage departmental communications, budgets, schedules, application files, and office supplies. - Event Management:
Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and visitor check-ins for all open houses, preview days, tours, and recruitment events (including occasional evenings/weekends). - Data & Financial Aid Support:
Maintain database integrity, produce benchmarking reports, track applicants through the enrollment funnel, and assist families with financial aid processes and contracts. - Administrative Operations:
Manage calendar, scheduling, and travel logistics for the Chief External Affairs and Strategic Partnership Officer across multiple school institutes. - Community Engagement:
Actively participate in school life, upholding Kent Place's mission and commitment to inclusion and belonging.
Key Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience in enrollment, admissions, financial aid, or communications in an educational/nonprofit setting. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in database management and Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Slides, Gemini). Experience with independent school systems (e.g., Clarity) is a plus. - Communication &
Collaboration:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and phone skills; ability to engage warmly with diverse families, children, and staff. - Organization:
Exceptional project management, detail orientation, and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
