Join Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices as a full-time Automotive Mechanic in the Millburn, NJ area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers  vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Complete state-mmandated inspections; change oil and filters; check fluids; replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Possess an extensive personal toolbox of tools used in undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements; regular lifting of items weighing over 50 pounds.
