Stroke Neurologist, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center

Atlantic Health is looking to expand its neurology team and is seeking a physician to join the vascular neurology division at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke center accredited by the Joint Commission. The ideal candidate will be part of the stroke service line and Atlantic Medical Group and will report to the system medical director for neurology acute care, associate system medical director of stroke, and chair of the home institution.

Duties may include home/local hospital work as well as system-wide stroke responsibilities.

• Serve on the acute stroke team (code strokes in-person and/or via telemedicine)
• Provide vascular neurology consults for all non-emergent inpatient cases
• Participate in outpatient clinic duties
• Work closely with emergency medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, interventionalists, and neurointensivists
• Guide and supervise stroke APNs and PAs
• Collaborate with stroke coordinators and managers, review quality data, and ensure best practice medicine for all stroke patients

• MD or DO degree
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
• ACGME-accredited neurology residency
• Board certified in vascular neurology

$350,000–$450,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives.
