Job Title: Aerospace Project / Program Managers
Location: Summit, NJ
Quantity = 2 (1 Medium and 1 Senior Program Manager)
Compensation: Salary Range $100K - $160K (Based on Level) + Possible Bonus for the Senior.
Relocation: Company offers a lump Sum amount for relocation assistance of around $2.5K - $5k

This is a privately owned growing company in business for 70+ years. They have 400+ people in their plant, many of them with stable, long-term 40+ years of employment.
The Company produces precision flow control components like Solenoid valves for mission critical applications in the Aerospace and Aviation industries.
Note 1:
This position requires a hands-on person coming from high precision (low volume) Solenoid Valve manufacturing business in the aerospace Industry.
Note 2: This person will be Managing Projects and Programs for Solenoid Valve Manufacturing in the Aerospace industry.
Note 3: This position is NOT for a Design Engineer, or managing Projects/Programs in Software, IT or any other industry (but previous Engineering experience is a plus).
Job Summary:
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining effective relationships with both internal and external relationships with customers.
Manage Projects and Programs for Solenoid Valve Manufacturing in the Aerospace industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Controls - assuring Programs are performed within specific Program award budgets
- Schedule Controls - that assure on time contract performance with the appropriate resources allocated to meet changing contract requirements
- Contractual Submittals - that assure timely production of documents, reports and program updates per specific contract reporting requirements
- Customer Relations - Develop and maintain relationship with existing and new customers - Be the face of the Company to our customer.
- Other important elements for success are a clear understanding of business, accounting procedures, Quality Assurance practices, contracts, sales techniques and manufacturing procedures.
- A thorough understanding of engineering concepts and techniques is required
- BS in Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Experience Managing complex Projects and Programs, with demonstrated financial skills and excellent communications techniques in the Aerospace Industry. (for both levels).
- For Medium = 5+ years & for Sr. = 8+ years of above experience.
- Self-starter, organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Solid project engineering and communication skills
- Advanced Degree - MS or MBA
- Previous Hands-on Engineering Experience.
