Packaging Engineer

Packaging Engineer (Summit NJ, or Fort Washington, PA) - Leading Global Consumer Products Pharma company

One of the world’s most respected and leading global Consumer Product companies, located in either Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA has an immediate need for an experienced Consumer Product Packaging Engineer:

• Support and Coordinate Packaging
  
  Activities:
  
  Primary Packaging contact with all relevant internal parties and Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Sites
• Develop and provide necessary documentation for NDP such as Development Plan, Technical Review forum, APR statements, technical memos, etc.
• Serve as Packaging Representative on cross functional teams to plan and coordinate all package engineering related functions related to specification changes
• Work with R&D and Ops to develop any technical validation plans required to initiate specification updates.

• 5 – 7 years professional experience.
• BS Degree in Packaging Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Preferred Experience: Skin Care, Cosmetics, FDA / GMP experience preferred;
  Packaging Validation;
  Line Trial experience;
  Packaging Specification development, review and implementation;
  Working closely with Packaging Suppliers;
  Manage Cost Improvement initiatives;
  Conduct and manage Packaging Testing;
  Initiation and Review of Change Control documentation;
  Writing Technical Justifications;
  Must work closely as part of cross-functional team;
  External Manufacturing experience preferred.
