Job Description

Blackstone’s Global Fund Finance team is seeking a Fund Accounting Associate to support our business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Review daily and monthly estimate and final fund NAVs.
  • Prepare and review capital calls and distributions allocations.
  • Assist in tracking investment costs and monitoring the fair value of investments.
  • Oversee quarterly NAV and portfolio reconciliation, investigating discrepancies with internal teams.
  • Calculate management fees, distributions, waterfall allocations, and IRR.
  • Prepare fund forecasts, performance estimates, attributions, and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Review investor statements and internal reports.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits.
  • Oversee and review the offshore team’s work.
  • Qualifications

    We seek motivated, proactive, and intelligent individuals with a track record of excellence. The ideal candidate will have:

    • BS or higher in Accounting or Finance.
    • 3+ years of fund, audit, or administrator experience / 3+ years in public or private accounting.
    • Experience in private equity, hedge funds, or audit is preferred.
    • Knowledge of SEC/regulatory filings for investment funds is preferred.
    • CPA certification is preferred.
    • Strong Excel skills are preferred.
    • Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
    • Team-oriented with a willingness to assist colleagues.
    Additional Information

    Expected annual base salary: $100,000 - $140,000, determined by experience, skills, and location. Additional compensation and benefits may apply.
