Our Summit, New Jersey office is excited to welcome a Sr Client Service Associate to our team. This role is a key part of our High Net Worth practice, serving as the primary liaison between clients and the Financial Advisor while delivering an exceptional, personalized client experience.
As a Sr Client Service Associate you will be involved in all aspects of the client relationship, from managing financial paperwork to preparing for account reviews, ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and valued at every stage.
This is an onsite, Monday through Friday position based in our office. While it is structured as a full‑time role, part‑time arrangements may be considered for a highly qualified candidate.
Base salary range: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00, plus annual bonus eligibility and benefits.
Primary Job Functions- New Client Onboarding and Office Administration
- Ensure accurate completion and setup of prospect and new client paperwork
- Follow up on incoming funds and transfers from surrendering companies
- Maintain and update client and prospect information within the CRM (Salesforce)
- Record incoming assets using the appropriate blotter or tracking tool
- Manage daily mail operations including receiving, sorting, distributing, and sending mail and courier shipments
- Oversee ordering, receipt, and inventory of office and general supply needs
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of common areas including kitchenette and beverage supplies
- Client Relationship Management and Review Support
- Engage with clients to understand their personal background and current financial needs
- Serve as primary point of contact for client requests, determining next steps and coordinating execution
- Prepare and process account transactions, including trades, deposits, withdrawals, and RMDs
- Assist with scheduling client meetings, appointments, and internal events
- Gather and organize client data and prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
- Conduct tax‑related research, including review of 1099s
- Coordinate as needed with clients’ tax or legal counsel on specific concerns
- Complete all post‑meeting and ongoing client follow‑up to ensure exceptional service
- Industry/Company Knowledge
- Demonstrates knowledge and can accurately execute against WEG’s Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model
- Understands financial terminology and products
- Working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices
- Attends Client Services and company educational events
- Team and Corporate Support
- Assists Advisor Team Operations to streamline processes
- Completes operational projects to support enhancements and changes
- Communicates process and sales updates to team
- Supports ad‑hoc projects and operational initiatives assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics or a related field
- 3 years’ experience in financial services
- FINRA Security Licenses or ability to obtain (plus)
- Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity and Pershing custodial platforms (plus)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
- Experience with Workday preferred
