Financial Advisor / Consultant, Wealth Management
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Summit, NJ, for a Wealth Portfolio Planner.
We are seeking an individual who is a strong relationship builder with great communication skills and a problem‑solving mindset that thrives in a fast-paced and evolving organization. Our ideal candidate is self‑motivated, a proactive tech savvy learner, consistently performs at a high level under variable workloads, and has a passion for making a positive impact on client’s lives. You will have exposure to many areas of financial services with a primary focus on creating Investment Proposal Recommendations and conducting Client Portfolio reviews for affiliated RIA and IAR Wealth Advisors using our proprietary platform.
This is not an “Analyst” position. This is focused on helping Independent Wealth Advisors create winning Portfolio’s for their clients based on the objectives, needs and goals of those clients.
Inbound and outbound Advisor Service, Investment Holdings Review, Investment Proposal Generation & Portfolio Planning, Quality Assurance, Internal Projects and Wealth Advisor Coaching & Training.
Primary Responsibilities:- Meets with Wealth Advisors to collect client information and build strong relationships (Phone/Video).
- Works with Wealth Advisors in ensuring the proper forms are collected pre/post client meeting.
- Acts as the primary interface between Wealth Advisors responsible for reviewing sensitive client information and inputting it into the Simplicity Wealth Tech System.
- Services portfolio planning-related requests with a focus on providing high quality & responsive experience.
- Extensive communication with internal and external clients using email and phone.
- Collaborates, Coaches, and answers Advisor questions via e-mail, video, and phone.
- Conducts educational Webinars to continue to educate and teach Advisors best practices.
- Handles inbound calls to the Planning Team and addresses and resolves any Advisor needs.
- Handles Quality Assurance related to the Wealth Proposal as Tech is regularly updated.
- Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- 3 full years of consecutive work experience (non-intern)
- Prior experience in a Financial Services capacity (RIA, IAR, Bank, Broker Dealer, Annuity, Life) (Required)
- Must be Tech Savvy:
Strong Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Excel, Word, Drive, eMail, etc) (Required) - Must hold at least one of the below:
- Series 65 or Series 66
- Series 7
- CFP or CHFC

Base salary: $65,000 -$80,000 based on experience and licenses. Add $5K for CFP/CHFc
This is an Exempt position.
Annual performance bonus target: 10%-15%
