Wellness Director / DON (Finance) — Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) Position

Brandywine Living, a premier provider of quality senior living, is seeking a Wellness Director / DON to join the team! The comfort and care of our residents is our highest priority.

• Plan, organize, and direct the overall clinical operations of the nursing department to provide comprehensive care for residents in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of all policies and procedures pertaining to the position, the department, and the personnel.
• Develop and implement active wellness programs for residents, working with the Life Enrichment Director.
• Maintain resident files in an orderly manner and document all pertinent information regarding residents.
• Prepare resident charges and reports to the Director for approval and billing.
• Attend or complete a minimum of 12 hours of annual training on topics relevant to the community resident population.
• Assess residents within 90 days prior to move-in and annually thereafter or as the resident's condition changes.
• Develop the initial Individual Service Plan (ISP) to meet the needs of the resident within 72 hours of move-in and the comprehensive ISP within 30 days of move-in and annually or as the resident's condition changes.
• Oversee resident care provided by the nursing department.
• Investigate all resident and family complaints or concerns regarding the nursing department and report findings to the Director. Take action to ensure problems are resolved.
