Responsibilities

Summit Oaks Hospital is a 126‑bed private acute care hospital and chemical dependency treatment center located in a suburban setting. The future Mental Health Associate will work as an active member of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, role‑modeling, and monitoring across a range of units. Current units include a 28‑bed adult psych unit, 28‑bed adult dual diagnosis unit, 22‑bed child and adolescent unit, 24‑bed detox unit, and 20‑bed rehab unit.

Duties also include taking vital signs, conducting educational groups, and responding to codes.

This is a full‑time night shift position, three days a week from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am with rotating weekends.

• B.S. in a health‑related field with one year of psychiatric experience, or two years of psychiatric experience with evidence of continuing education in mental health.
• Psychiatric inpatient experience with adults, adolescents, and dual populations preferred.
• Must maintain CPR, First Aid, Verbal De‑escalation and Handle with Care certifications (hospital will provide).
