Cook II-Atlantic Health Medical Center-Part Time

Job Description

Responsible for the preparation of food for patients, associates, and all other guests. Reviews menus and customer orders to determine type and quantities of food to be prepared. Principal accountabilities include ensuring department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, etc. as assigned, performing and meeting customer needs and taking appropriate steps to rectify issues, maintaining stocks and replenishing cafeteria items as needed according to department standards, maintaining cleanliness of cafeteria, serving areas, and tray return areas, and ensuring sanitation of all equipment.

Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude. Prepares and serves daily menu cycle items for grill and deli station. Cleans and stocks area after each meal. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred:
Three or more years of experience in cooking or relevant area. Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
