Associate Engineer, IT Laboratory Systems

Position Summary

Associate Engineer, IT Laboratory Systems to support laboratory and manufacturing benchtop IT systems in a GMP‑regulated environment. Provides hands‑on technical support, troubleshooting, and operational execution to ensure system availability and compliance. Primarily supports non‑standard business hours (nights, extended hours, weekends, holidays, scheduled site shutdowns).

• Provide technical support for laboratory benchtop equipment and IT systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and IT hardware.
• Assist in installation and configuration of laboratory software and hardware.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and laboratory protocols.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and support activities.
• Assist in training laboratory personnel on IT systems and equipment.
• Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and IT systems.

• 1 year of technical support experience or relevant IT certifications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and IT systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work non‑standard schedules (nights, extended hours, weekends, holidays).
• Flexibility to support day shift as needed, including coverage during absences.
• Ability to report onsite within a reasonable timeframe.
