  • Establish and oversee preventive maintenance programs for building systems, mechanical equipment, and aquatic facilities.
  • Ensure facilities are safe, well-maintained, code-compliant, and aligned with operational and organizational needs.
  • Monitor facility conditions, assess emerging risks, and establish priorities for maintenance, repairs, and improvements.
  • Oversee systems and processes for work orders, equipment records, inspections, supplies, and facility-related documentation.
  • Coordinate facility-related emergency response and oversee operational planning for weather events and other urgent situations.
Capital Planning and Asset Management
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop long-term facility strategies, capital improvement plans, and investment priorities.
  • Develop and manage the annual facilities operating budget and multi-year capital forecast.
  • Oversee asset lifecycle planning, deferred maintenance tracking, and the replacement or modernization of major building systems.
  • Identify and evaluate capital projects, preparing recommendations, cost estimates, and supporting business cases.
  • Lead renovation, construction, and capital improvement projects from planning and vendor selection through completion.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, quality, and outcomes while providing regular updates to leadership.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Oversee and collaborate with the maintenance team and provide leadership to housekeeping staff.
  • Support recruiting, training, coaching, performance management, and professional development for facilities personnel.
