Nurse Practitioner​/Physician Assistant, PD, Neurocritical Care - Atlantic Health Medic

Job Description

Atlantic Health is seeking a Neurocritical Care APP (NP/PA) for a per‑diem opportunity in Summit, NJ. The APP will provide 1–2 shifts per month, working 7:00 pm–7:30 am or 7:00 am–7:30 pm (12‑hour shifts). Weekends are not required.

• Provide advance practice care delivery in collaboration with Neurocritical Care and Neurosurgical teams.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and interpret diagnostic results.
• Perform bedside procedures as needed.
• Document daily progress notes.
• Provide patient/family education.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• ENLS Certified is preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in Neurocritical Care required.
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
