Job Description
Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medication, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Principal Accountabilities- Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports.
- Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions.
- Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments.
- Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
- ACLS certification.
