Position Overview
CRNA opening for the 24hr team with a busy practice in northern New Jersey at Overlook Medical Center—known for its centers of excellence. Overlook Medical Center is a 350‑bed hospital in Summit, NJ, that offers a wide array of advanced services, including neurodiagnostic, neurological, and neurosurgical services. This site features a certified Level IV Epilepsy Center and is a hub for the New Jersey Stroke Network and a regional leader in neuroscience care through its Atlantic Neuroscience Institute.
Also on campus is The Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center, where medical experts are performing the most brain tumor surgeries in New Jersey. This close‑knit team of CRNAs, who have received Masters and Doctoral degrees, work in a care team model. The staff experiences the support of local and regional leaders who value and promote the critical role each member plays in the overall success of the practice.

Salary: $280K
Sign‑on Incentive: $100K

- Case assignments:
Cases are inclusive of a full CRNA scope of practice. Moreover, CRNAs are part of the L&D team, placing spinals and epidurals. - Pre‑anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
- Schedule:
73, 24 hour shifts - Current license as a registered professional nurse
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
