Travel RN - Cardiovascular ICU

Overview

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular/Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) position requiring a valid NJ RN license and at least one year of critical care experience.

• Active NJ RN license required (NJ or Compact)
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience as an RN in a hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong communication and computer skills required
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Hospital-based Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) setting
• PM shift, 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hrs/week)
• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary health care team using a Shared Governance model with a focus on evidence-based practice
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from their initial start date; a 30–60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment at this facility
