Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. The ideal candidate should have strong assessment skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Perform patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation according to nursing standards.
- Follow patient safety protocols, infection control practices, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Support a positive patient experience through compassionate and professional care.
Requirements:
- Active RN License – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg RN experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
