Travel Medical-Surgical RN

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Summit, New Jersey.

Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Summit, New Jersey. This position involves delivering comprehensive patient care across adult populations, demonstrating assessment, clinical skills, documentation, and professionalism. The role requires supporting patient education, safety, and unit-specific procedures within a fast-paced surgical environment.

• Deliver comprehensive patient care across adult populations, including assessment, clinical skills, documentation, and professionalism.
• Support patient education, safety, and unit-specific procedures within a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
• Ensure timely completion of patient testing.
• Evaluate orders for surgical patients.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Infusion Nurse experience required: start IVs, work with PICC lines, Midlines, portacaths, draw labs from lines, administer medications including antibiotics, IVIG, blood transfusions, GI and Rheumatoid medications, iron products.
• Ability to give subcutaneous and IM injections.
• Preferred:
  Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
